The ILO Global Business Network on Forced Labour (GBNFL) is organizing a webinar series on what works in preventing forced labour. Nearly one in four victims of forced labour is a migrant worker. Given the risk of human trafficking and forced labour, promoting fair recruitment is critical to preventing forced labour. This webinar will create a platform for the ILO experts, initiatives working on fair recruitment, and companies to discuss current models that are working well to promote fair recruitment as well as lessons learned. In particular, the webinar will focus on eliminating worker-borne recruitment fees and related costs.
